The Seven Tuns is the result of two lifelong dreams of owners Simon Willson-White and Thomas Conway. Both carrying equal amounts of expertise within the hospitality and catering industry, some of Simon’s recent career placements have seen him working at some prestigious restaurants such as The Ivy and The Ritz over his 37-year career. Thomas runs the kitchen and has just as impressive a CV, boasting previous positions at Nobu, One Aldwych and The Potting Shed.
Thomas and Simon have now joined forces to fulfil a life long dream at the Tuns, where exquisite food and wine are married in a beautiful country setting. The Seven Tuns is known for having the best wine cellar in the region with some exquisite choices from countries all over the world including Spain, France, Europe, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, and South America.
For those who prefer a good locally brewed beer, The Seven Tuns has a large range available on tap to suit most tastes. To accompany its extravagant, wellknown drinks menu, The Seven Tuns offers a locally sourced menu located in its converted barn restaurant that is run by Thomas. The menu includes some delicious, freshly prepared dishes that cater to a variety of palates. Guests can appreciate some beautiful starters with dishes such as Steamed River Fowey mussels with Korean chili and coconut or Pulled short rib chili nachos with avocado and sour cream. Moving onto the mains, its exquisite range of dishes will leave guests torn on what dish to choose. With options such as Rendcombe Park fallow deer and celeriac cottage pie with sprouting broccoli and Pea and mint mac n’ cheese with watercress and parmesan, as well as Vegan options including Homemade noodles with shitake mushrooms, broccoli, peanuts, chili and ginger.
